Q: WHAT IS A ZINE?A: A zine (aka fanzine) is a fanmade magazine that includes artwork, writing, and, sometimes, merch, based on a certain theme/subject. Zines may be physical, digital, or both depending on the project.Q: WHAT IS THE THEME OF THIS ZINE?A: This zine will be focused on Wriothesley from Genshin Impact.Q: WHAT IS THE RATING OF THIS ZINE?A: This zine is rated PG-13 and therefore all works should be SFW (safe for work) only. NSFW works are not allowed.Q: WILL THIS ZINE BE DIGITAL OR PHYSICAL?A: This zine will be digital. The finished PDF will be available to download for free on the day the zine releases!Q: HOW MANY CONTRIBUTORS WILL BE ACCEPTED?A: Everyone who applies during our sign-up period (and does not fall under our disqualifications*)! No prior zine experience needed. No portfolio is required either unless you want to apply for cover artist. While we strive to accept everyone, do note our disqualifications as follows.*Disqualifications: We do not condone harassment of any sort. Any applicant or contributor who is found to have partaken in the harassment or harm of other individuals will be disqualified from joining the zine and will be banned from the zine and from all future projects.Q: ARE OTHER GENSHIN CHARACTERS ALLOWED?A: Yes, you may include other characters in your piece, but Wriothesley must be the main focus.Q: ARE SHIPS ALLOWED?A: No, all character interactions should be platonic. We want the focus of the zine to be on Wriothesley instead of on the ships.Q: ARE AU'S ALLOWED?A: Yes!Q: IS TRADITIONAL ART ALLOWED?A: Yes! Traditional art is welcomed, but all final pieces will need to be scanned to at least 300 DPI resolution and sized to the correct dimensions.
Guidelines
Contributors are required to create one (1) piece for the zine. All pieces should be completely new and original. Reusing past works that were already created prior to the zine are not allowed.
Page Artists: one (1) single page, A5 portrait illustration
Writers: one (1) short fic, 2000 word count with 100 word leeway
Merch Artists: one (1) piece of digital merch
ADDITIONAL EXPECTATIONS:
Discord is required. We will be using Discord to communicate important announcements and updates.
English speaking required.
There will be no extensions for final submissions (non-negotiable).
Because this is an SFW zine, please keep convos to SFW only (no NSFW).

Tracing, copying, or use of AI images is strictly prohibited.
